The hotel's location was amazing, not far from surrounding farms, restaurants, and the vineyard. The staff was amicable providing the information.

The value for money at La Cotte Forest Cottages was great, with a beautifully decorated room and amazing views. The location was perfect, within walking distance of town, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

loved the privacy of our cottage at the end, terrace with BBQ was a highlight, big pool with great view, short walk to main street with shops/restaurants, amazing experience at Van der Werf & nanny at tree house was a hit, well-equipped cottages with luxurious touches.

Its location is stunning, adjacent to forest, all nice shops and restaurants, and restaurants, lovely area. Plus, it is set 2 km from Dutch Reformed Church.

The beautiful cottages offered a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, with excellent facilities for relaxation and enjoyment. The stunning pool area provided breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, making it the perfect place for the kids to splash around while we enjoyed the tranquility. We also loved the option to engage in various activities like cycling and hiking, ensuring there was never a dull moment. Plus, the exclusive nature of the place allowed us to fully enjoy it with just our family.

For dads, it would be great if the cottages had easier access to the bathroom during the night. The mezzanine sleeping area's steep stairs made it a bit challenging to navigate, leading to some unintentional midnight wake-up calls.

The cottages were well-equipped and had a nice outdoor area. The pool and terrace were great. The location was convenient for exploring the area's activities.

So thankful for that bitter taste left by their incompetence.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to town. The staff goes above and beyond to assist you, and the entire property is impeccably clean. The cottages are fully equipped with all the utensils you need, including long stem wine and champagne glasses for those luxurious evenings in. The swimming pool is perfect for both kids and adults, and the views are simply jaw-dropping. The surrounding area is stunning and you're just a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Plus, they provide pool towels and milk in the fridge upon arrival. The privacy and comfort of the cottages are top-notch, with lovely terraces and BBQ areas. We can't wait to come back with our friends and family for a massive holiday!

The cottage offered breathtaking views and had a beautiful and inviting swimming pool. the cottages were also well-equipped with everything needed for self-catering, and the communal braai and kitchen area were perfect for socializing with friends and family.

The location was not easily accessible for guests with mobility issues, as some areas were challenging to navigate.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The location is the best imaginable, with stunning views of the mountains. The interior and decor of the cottages are very tasteful, creating a fantastic place to relax. The basic amenities were well provided, and the staff's attention to detail was evident in every aspect. Additionally, the breakfast provided was incredibly delicious.

The only minor issue I found was the layout of the rooms. While the bed and linen were very comfortable, the en-suite bathroom was extremely small and felt a bit claustrophobic.

Cozy and peaceful cottages with all necessities catered for. Hospitable and professional staff. Nice big pool, though weather didn't allow for use. Comfortable warm bed. Highly recommended to friends. Looking forward to returning soon.

Our stay near the local restaurants and main attractions was fantastic, making it easy to explore the area and try out delicious food. Our cottage had a beautiful verandah with a BBQ, surrounded by stunning scenery and a lush forest. The friendly and accommodating staff made us feel right at home and helped us with whatever we needed. We loved waking up to the peaceful and serene ambiance and going for a morning jog through the vineyard. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip and the fireplace in the cottage provided a warm and cozy atmosphere at night.

Despite all the great features, we did find one minor thing that could be improved upon. The wooden floors could be a bit squeaky in certain cottages, but it did not detract too much from our overall experience.
